its my first bike trip out of Singapore (finally) and.... its to MELAKA! :D
it was on our 2nd off day and it was a last min thing to ride out.
ok the plan was to go there to eat the famous Mee Goreng. but when we went there, it was closed! originally, the plan was to go to Batu Pahat to eat Nasi Lemak but it opens at 4.30pm which is too late for lunch.
so yea. here's to the trip and its with my teammates with 3 more guys from other teams. total, 6 bikes and 3 pillions.
pumped petrol at Shell and take out all those legal-sg-not-permitted stuff and spray some lub on the chains b4 heading off at about 10am.
overall it was a good trip. so far its about 2 months since i'm in this Team and realized its the touring team. ahhahahs. really good guys to work with and ride with.
was initially abit apprehensive coz i didn't know how fast they would go and what to expect at the checkpoint. but in the end.. ok la. ahhas. avging about 130 to 140km/h. and i hit my top speed of 161km/h. hahas. never dare to go at such speeds at singapore.
but its good coz they say after 140km/h, all the carbon gets blasted out so it gets cleaner. its true coz the next day, my bike felt damn clean and smooth. macham like all problems solved. hahas.
first time at Melaka and probably coz it's my dad's hometown, had quite a close feeling to that place. idk how to explain as its my first time there too. but the place is really rich in culture and heritage and would wanna spend time with mother poon and sis there one day.
a few months before my dad passed away, he mentioned about wanting to go melaka for a visit... but i guess he couldn't wait. le sigh. haha. so, this trip is dedicated to him.
learnt alot from the abangs and thank them for guiding me and teaching me so many stuff.

met up with the guys from ATTC for dinner. had a good time catching up after not seeing each other for at over 2 yrs especially with Roxas who came all the way from KL for this.

pit stop after abt an hr to rest and pump more petrol. totally enjoying the /3 exchange rate. an yea, we damn old sch. no gps, so we use maps. hardcopy.

so excited to see Melaka.
stopped by. asked for directions coz the meegoreng stall closed. so we ended up at this famous coconut shake place.
rode around, went market place and shopping centre.
and off we goooo....

his tail light and plate was dropping off coz 2 scews went missing. ahhas
first time riding in the night with no street light. qute and experience for me. with the haze and rain, it was quite scary for me at one point of time.

and sam and andrew finally got married! #andrewsamwed. ahhas. knew this couple ever since they first met at a sportsclub main comm meeting. ahhahahs. long time since i've typed that. so its been 9 yrs. finally guys. :)
really such a wonderful setting for the wedding and Sam being very talented with her designing and stuff, really put in a lot of effort for all the deco and stuff. it totally like ramped up the bistro/restaurant's image coz most of the stuff were made and designed by her. ahhas. it almost felt like an art installation of their journey tgt. hahas. :')
