i never believe in tablets to suppress pain and stuff like that coz i'm damn afraid of being reliant on them. but today, for the last block of 6 games, i had to take this one.
the doc told me that i would not be reliant on this.. so ok la. not too bad. i'm quite sure that its psychological effect that my ankle wasn't as pain as the last blk of games. hahas. but sure enough, there wasn't obvious swelling today. but my calf are super duper tight.
i need a sports massage to un-knot me.
so today, heavy oil. understood the lanes better than the last 2 blks. games not very fantastic as there wasn't much carry down. hit the pocket, pin 10 or 4-7 stays. messenger always taps the pin 10, but not strong enough to carry it. then even make 1 board shift, it stays or over.
had at least 6 1-2-4-10pins standing today. only manage to convert 1. but today my sparing's so much better. because i'm damn nua and tired from watching The 4 Constables online last night, i literally no energy to make the mistake of carrying the ball during the swing. so as a result, my swing was more relaxed that usual- smth that i'd always need to work on especially during tournaments.
games had a stupid pattern. 18 15 18 15 18 15. just simply cannot make it consistent. haiz. and over these few days, i've been putting in tape, taking out tape quite oftenly.
seems that i really lack alot of confidence during the swing.
tmr's stand chart run. if i'd had known that UITM wouldn't clash with this run, i would have signed up for it.
i still haven't pack my bag.
i really hope UITM will end well; for me.
ok. so with this understanding, i took the innocent orangey-red looking tablet today.
NUCOXIA ( Arcoxia, Generic Etoricoxib )
Manufacturer: Zydus manufactures NUCOXIA ( Arcoxia, Generic Etoricoxib ).
Uses: The uses of NUCOXIA ( Arcoxia, Generic Etoricoxib ) include:
Etoricoxib, which is a type of medicine known as a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). NSAIDs work by blocking the action of a substance in the body called cyclo-oxygenase. Cyclo-oxygenase is involved in producing prostaglandins, in response to injury or certain diseases. These prostaglandins cause pain, swelling and inflammation. Because NSAIDs block the production of these prostaglandins, they are effective at relieving pain and inflammation. Cyclo-oxygenase does not only produce prostaglandins that cause inflammation. It also produces prostaglandins that have useful roles in the body. There are two different forms of cyclo-oxygenase, COX-1 and COX-2. COX-2 is the form that (among other things) produces prostaglandins that cause inflammation. COX-1 does not produce inflammatory prostaglandins, but does produce others that have useful effects, including some that are involved in maintaining a healthy stomach and intestinal lining. Traditional NSAIDs, such as ibuprofen or diclofenac, block the action of both COX-1 and COX-2, and this is why they can sometimes cause side effects such as stomach irritation and peptic ulcers. Etoricoxib belongs to a new generation of NSAIDs that selectively block the action of COX-2. This means that it stops the production of inflammatory prostaglandins, without stopping the production of prostaglandins that protect the stomach and intestines. It therefore reduces pain and inflammation, but is less likely than traditional NSAIDs to cause side effects on the stomach and intestines (although such side effects are still possible). This medicine can be taken with or without food, but may start to work quicker if taken without food. What is it used for? Acute gout Rheumatoid arthritis Osteoarthritis
