DAY 3 IMF

wohoooo.

b4 i start. the contents of below are strictly for social and leisure purposes.

ok. so
shift is from 0700-1300. ahaa. felix and i came at 7am. then meisy came at 8am plus. and jenny, i/c of the photo booth came at 8.35am. haha.

first was a press conference.. at 9.30am.

then followed by another one at 10.30am.
i took the 2nd one. with jini, and gary.

whoa. when i went into the press centre. amazed by the size, efficiency and all. everyone was typing and all.
during the press conference by Mr. Wolf, President of World Bank, super lots of photographers. when he smiles.. whoa. u can hear all the shutter. initially, i was using gary's wide lens. then later. i used his f/2.8s 70-200. whoas cool man. but my flash batt is lousy one. so take very long to reload. so alot of it no flash, shake ALOT.

i'm so impressed by the 4(or more) translators. while he was talking, they were translating, SIMULTANEOUSLY. crazy can. then like.. the audience some have headphones, attached to a controller.. then like. can listen to the translator coz its an international thing. BIG lehs.
after the event, while walking out of the press conference rm, the press centre 'office', were already uploadin the pics and typing out the conference. talk abt efficiency la. then then, while gg out of that room, some ALREADY POSTED ONTO THE WEB. like HELLOS. its like. like. 5-6mins?!

the photos turened out was... bah. alright la. i scared my head head head like feel its below expectations.
agian. protocols and all. critics here and there. not sure to voice out or not. HECK.


all i know is that i love what i'm doing now.
i wannt thank willy nicholas, andass, cheeyong for like all the organisation and stuff. esp for the VVIPs photogs. its like. every then, the door opens and "OK. i need 3 VVIPs photog now" aha. and like gary, we was having his lunch halfway had to go shoot more. haha.

shot the protestants also. like whoa. first time they're like that. i duno la. it was like. orgainsed demostrations by them. abt being 'no voice'.

and and. they give freaking gd brochurs, notes, newspapers all for free when u need to buy outside. like they even give cds. i duno la. like, i'm really impressed. its the most sensative event in the world,, currently. but really.


its not easy. but its fun. last min changes, meetings, events all out. aha. so jini is our 'official press'.. she'll be sitting there, getting infro from there to us. haha.
thank u CELINE SO MUCH. she's one of the MAS dah dah dah. and she went through alot from day 1. from cleariance to even our welfare. she's like our mother.


also. thank God for meisy and serena for being one of the few girls that i can talk to. (: and gary, for his wide lenses. ahaha. and lenses. ahaha. coz at the press conference, i was really scared. more of overwhelmed. everyone's eveywhere. and like. shessh. haha.


i'm really learning alot. so the unpleasant part sort of, doesn't matter to me, though it does. haha.


saw alot of tp ppl today. pauline, jeremy's frien, joseph, gim kai, this girl from procuction crew , mike ETC. all htm, leisure and resort and all lar..impressive. they all wear suit kinda thing. this morng at like 6.30am. saw alex on the mrt. haha.


ar. I've got like no more clothes?! hahaha. die man.



ok. i realised that my phone, contains my MMC card. so even if lost, he still can see my unglam shots, shots in classroms, tchrs and friends. haven upload into my com yet. ): . ABOVE it. the MMC CARD IS FROM GARY QUEK, TC, JOHN, MERVYN, SARA, GERA, STEPH, ABBY, MEL, PRACTICALLY THE WHOLE 4/6 for my 16TH BIRTHDAY (or issit 15th. sara took long ot organnise it. gary q used his oberservation skills to know what i needed. and the money part. awww.


to those on msn who like make me (: ever since the LOSS. haha. i'm fine thank u. solo, erwyn, shaun, gland, eugene, steph, daniel ong, victor, zen and all... even to the extent of wanting to lend me an extra phone, thank u so much. (:
i'm pretty much OK with it coz i'm busy with IMF and like no time to hear IPOD and play hp. but i guess after IMF i'll feel the LOSS. haha. EMO. hahahhaha. no la jk. we'll see.. but since i'm gaing so much now, in terms of experince and all. loosing some should be normal. haha.


well. IMF, my day 1 of official shots, has sort of changed me. i guess. like. i've thoughts abt being a journalists? photographer? press? media? haha. but the press and media are always red marked at these meetings and conferences. that the whole challenge of it.


AND. i SAW THIS PREGNANT PHOTOGRAPHER. and u know how photogrpahers push to be the frontline. she was like bending here and there.. leaning here and there. and i, a teenager, have probs squatting and bending on my knees. my left knee seems to get onto me after i hold the camera and take the shots.



u know wad. i should slp. nite. i'm tired.
