hmm. gd visual effects. from the director of 'The Day After Tomorrow', my all time favourite movie. ahha. i've realised that when the director tries to emphasize the vast greatness of Earth, he would place like 2 men walking on the planet and the rotating camera goes around them wide-angledly.
anyway. i think over all not that bad la. duno y the ratings were so bad. probably the spirit part that helped the girl come back to life was too supernatural for such a supposedly realistic movie.
after that. she had to meet her friend n it was only like 8pm plus. i went cine to see the photos. and bah. i didn't get into the top 20. one of my fav out was out. i hope he'll win it. but i didn't like some. if i had knew it was more like a 90% relevance to the theme (rather than the sounding 60%), i wouldn't have sent in those photos. would probably take some makeshift stupid shots.
walked at john little. havent been there for like ages. used to go there after ballet lessons with mommy when in primary sch. ahha. now the Specialist Centre has been pulled down, making John Little move to Orchad Emerald there.
decided to take a look the women's make up section. ahha.. it was at the main entrance somemore. i was so colourful and birght.. boy. big business luh. i realised this market is quite profitable luh. a small colour pencil can worth up to $20. omgs.
then at the clothing section. i saw this girl, probably around 14 yrs old, asking her dad which top he prefers. and her mum and dad were like giving the typical mom-and-dad answers. omg. i didn't know i missed shoppping like that with mom and dad tgt lars.
ok. so anyway. on the way home, for some reason, i missed daddy. i looked at the coffeeshop next to the library. it was once A&W. so much memoraries. i loved the waffles there. on dad's off days, we'd PURPOSELY wake up early, just to reach there at 10.55am for the breakfast-only waffles. i rmbr there's scramble eggs and sausages. and plus the orange juice in the transparent plastic cup. for the Poon family, to wake up at that time for fun was a feat.
on days dad work night shifts, he'd be home by 1120am like that. sometimes, he'd drop by A&W, just to surprise me with A&W breakfast. when he'e home, he'll TA-DAH me with the breakfast by secretly knocking on the gate. ok, when i was way much younger, it really excites me with someone knocks at the gate, especially knowing dad is at it. hahha. he'll be reeking with his aeroplane pertoluem + sweat + oil + dirt smell. blech.
but it was his signature smell.
i will always rmbr how his key sounds when he unlocks the door. i know the sound of the keys when one's coming home. dad uses the long ah-bengish chain so i more or less know it.
so today, on the way home, i actually teared mans. more like i allowed it to happen. coz from downstairs, i saw that the house lights are switched off, so no one's home yet. so i allowed myself to render the past. emo crap. but yet, i miss him duh. bah. unfair unfair unfair.
ok. ANYWAY. i should slp and prepare for tmr's game. haha. (:
