congrats to Vas and Pris although i kinda wanted Platinum to win.

today after service, helped christinne with some ballet thing for church. honestly, after doing so many years of this ballet thing, i felt that e foundation has kinda become natural. hoho. yes. i was kinda surprised that i was able to pin point technical mistakes and stuff like that. ahaha. and wads more, i feel happy to achieve such a 'feat'. ahha. i like ballet. BUT. i just find it had to relate to the dance... as in like, its definitely not an outlet for expression for me, but i do enjoy it when i get it right. hhaha.

is it my calling? i dun think so. i nv see myself in the dance profession. i mean like after grade 8 and stuff, when u're at this grade, its like O Levels. gotta think of where u wanna go and wad u wanna do. to share smth shocking, i'm taking Intermediate now, which is formerly known as Elementary. once i get this exam cleared, i can T-E-A-C-H. yes. ballet tchr. HAHHAA. or, i can choose to go on and be more pro.
ahhaha. nah. let's just wait for God to decide. who knows. one day i'll guess get a Diploma in Dance/Ballet or wadeva. hhaha.

well, today's service was a little short, but i did quite abit of things. i shoot the BB enrolment service, and played at the same time. haha. it was like, technically serving everymin. hahaha. thats not the point. as for the guitar part. i had a few wrong chords but i guess it doesn't mattter coz i've given my best offering for the day. there were times i couldn't follow the song sequence but i'm glad that most of the time, i could feel that music. that really helped alot. so i guess it's not as bad as i've expected.. probably of the low expectation i've set for the day. haha.
i just hope to improve be it technically or spirituallly.


anyways. after that, went to Bugis. i finally got the bag that i spent the wk thinking abt it. it cost $49 elsewhere. but i got it at $35. i like it coz its big in capacity and camera-friendly and it looks punk-ish. haha. met mum to eat dinner.

and home.


tired coz of all the moving around. next wk full timetable whack in. just pray for directions and discipline. i'm not sure if i should continue with sportsclub. since i've been through it, it'll proabbly be gd for the new committee and helpful coz i know quite a no. of sports teams. we'll see, just keep prayin.

i should get serious now. not that i'm not serious, but i gotta be more focused on my studies. coz i'm yr2 now and i dun want to graduate with a lousy judgemental GPA and be unable to get the course i want in NUS. HAHAH. big plans, small steps.

so i guess i'll start the first small step- to slp early. gd nite.

today i played electric for teens time. i felt really bad. ahha. as in technically bad. my electric felt foreign. then was prac for sun Service. and i didnt have that very light feelin with i held that takamine. smth's gone wrong. seriously. its not that i've forgotton to play for smth. but.. i just can't get that feel back.


i almost choked on the rice that was in my mouth as i was looked back, still holding that chair. hahah. it was really comical come to think of it. i was in a state of pleasant shock.

i guess through this, i hope that the sports teams will know each other more. i'm sure the leaders got to know each other more.
congrats to rugby who was one of the teams who got the best dressed award. haha. i must say that almost all sports teams really put in effort to fish out talents from the freshmen.



also, the sports team are an efficient lot. rain come, move everything (inc tables) within 5-10mins. and once the sun is out, they're out again. the blue tent couldn't provide much shelther in the pouring rain.



well. on the whole, it was gd. bowling had a gd 200 over, close to 300. touch girls had 80.. alittle lesser than last year. dragonboat targeted and managed to hit 860 both guys and girls. girl bearing the higher percentage though.. the water sports were xiong ar. hhahha. ahhaha. high demand low supply.

may Team Temasek be the leading poly in Singapore once again.



this was the most rewarding. well, i wanna thank irvin and SNOWCLOUD for much appreciation to photography. ur encouragements will defintely go a long way. seriously. it was so so timely.

Adventure Race is postponed till monday due to heavy rain and safety reasons. yea. i guess this project is a desperate one so bowling has sent one team to represent the team out of kindness. so far, there's 14 teams, targeted 25 teams. yea, join out of courtesy or wadsoeva. we want the $1000 cashprize pls. after that, cell. was a gd sharing sesson.. i guess coz of the homely atmosphere. at least i was able to voice out my spiderwebs inside and at the same time, assured that i'm not the only one who feels this way towards our faith for now. it has kinda been ages that i've confide in someone coz i'm always putting a brick wall infront of all. haha. yea, i am happy. mainly coz i brush all my little probs for the dark nights... succumbing to its darkness till bed until the sunrises and i'm happy me again. haha.

today was gd. but again, i was reminded how slow i was. haha broke through, gave chase n i couldn't catch her. then Deedee same thing.. but couldn't touch her. and many times as defender, my hands were like so close.. but just couldn't reach. really frustraing.
and and. above all. i feel that i apply things really slowly. i wouldn't say i learn slow but just needed so so much time for a successful application. the 2 men punch was ok. but at tryline.. i'm like blur. frustrating can.

honestly, i feel so much happier in the rugby team in comparision to bowling. i love both games as much but i guess the ppl makes the team. and really, i just hope that bowling will stop being so narrow and open up. thank u.

Temasek Regatta

hot hot blazing sun and i'm burnt just taking photos.
VC borrowed 100-400mm and 10-22 and 20d and 30d. ahhaha.
i'm sure the 5 of us had fun using super cool equippments.

well, for the sec sch women's cup category, KC got champion! (: (: wasted la. if only they had dragonboat during my time. haha. btw. Temasek Regatta is abt dragonboat. so i was a the reservior from 8am till 6pm? but was cool. i helped KC take photos too coz i was the offical photog for the event. haha. so cool so cool. saw mrs sim, ms lam and mr juraimi.

the race was close! and i think Victoria sch should win. they ended up 4th while they got 1st for the trail race and the heats. to cut the story short, this sch which i dun want to mentioned, got into the wrong course and clashed into VS which vs tried to fight back on the course. of course, much precious time is wasted. and the sch who cause the whole mess got 2nd in the end. it was like.. wth la.
very sad.
all the boys cried. coz they couldn't do anything. even the coach cried. coz they trained hard and had all it takes to win, and not a marginal win. tp's ex girls capt trained them too and she got really upset for them. was quite emotional la. haha. then they sang their sch song and cheer with so much conviction and confindence in themselve that they are 1st. which is gd but... jsut really so so sad.
coz if u see the physical differnce, VS is way much stronger than all the other schs who jsut went to try-try.

haha. the photogs were in and out of Cyber Centre though. after the sec sch regatta, went to sports complex to shoot the orientation. after that was back to dragon boat.
everyone was burnt to the core. really. i was a little worried for my camera.. it was hot.

then we took grp pics.. played with the cam and shoot jam&hop.i bet all of them are like filtering their shots now.. haha.

kinda tired. my eye is blur. whole day shoot man. whole day. a total of 813 photos. 2.34 GB. haha. tian ar. everyday like that can spen lunch money on DVD liao.

yea. then went to cut hair. i think the length is just nice.. but he cut the top part too short so now it is too wierd. i think i'll wear a cap until the top part grows. haha. yea.

nic didn't leave her skirt for me. so i went in doing entre polinese w/o a skirt. and the rest of the time was swopping skirts with amanda lim.

well. i think i did well except for one small part in barre work and almost a major slip during demi-character. demi-charc was my fav dannce. BUT. i just had to screw it. ok la. i'm not blaming anyone.. but for me, the pianoist was really slow for demi-charc. i found myself trying hard to lift up to the music. grrrr. so i wasn't a gd performace. was off my mark most of the time coz i couldn't quite catch the rythm.but i think this is one of the best grades.

thank u ms emi for patiently guiding me through this yr. and my wonderful class which is ever so fun to be with.


ok. so today i read the news abt 'acsi regain title by beating Saints'.
i dun like the aricle.
i'm not being biased... BUT.
why does e spotlight have to be always on acsi be it loosing or winning?!

i just dont agree with the statement- "Ironically, it was the Saints who wrested the crown from the ACSians in 2005, 2005 and 2006." oh yea. btw.... i felt that ball possession was at SA ac's area 1st half lehs and not the other way round.

excuse me. so what.. just because the Saints worked hard and got paid off, ppl say that the crown was taken from acsi. pleaaaase. and then and then.. the article went on saying abt how victorious they are and stuff.
ok. i'm not a sore loser. BUT.
issit just me being too bored to figure some stuff out.

like when SA won, u guys says that acsi didn't play well.. players got banned coz of that incident and all... and thus, the news was abt how acsi didn't get to win the match INSTEAD of SA winning the match.

then. then photos. everytime, its always to acs' favour. even if we win... there's a pic of acsi tackling SA down saying that ac did put on a gd fight dah dah dah.

ok. there are some articles which are either neutral or yea la, to sa's favour. BUT. i would say like 80% of the time is to ac. its like.. distortion lar. they're like trying to portray that as if the title righfully belongs to ac. that's how I percieve it. count the no. of 'acsi' and 'sa' mentioned in any article. u'll realised smth..

anyways. nvm.


after settling sports club stuff... followed the girls to UWC for the match. nice grass. .uwc won 3-2 but it was a gd match after fighting back during 2nd half ahha. it was quite dark.. and i was struggling to take photos w/o flash. like 1S0 1600, f/4, 1/30? hhaha.
but i just hope that the team will remember me as a player, not a photographer. thank you.
i do enjoy taking photos but pls understand that i do not focus my shots on any individual. its not fair. and i only have less than 20 mins to get the shots. and really, i shoot for the team. thank you.

last lesson.

yea. so today's the last lesson for Grade 8 RAD syllabus.
kinda a little emotional for me... coz its one of the special class that i've been in for almsot a yr. v different from my previous classes. ppl keepin coming and gg.
i'm gg miss dancing with them. i guess my subjective love for ballet was because of them and of course, ms emi. briefly, i joined them only for grade 8.. so i was kidna doing both class- pre-elementary and grade 8... that explains why i'm always at the studio.



everything's been really messy. my room, table, everywhere. i really want to thank God so so much that i've given 1 more wk grace period to do whatever i can. i've been a big procrastinator for this holidays. basically, to reedem myself, i'll just say coz i needa focus on my ballet exam coz i really really want to do well.

i guess TP has one of the best cheers. if only i video's the OGL's cheers. they did a mega remix for the freshies.. and it was close to 5-6mins long. it was really cool.

today was also my first lesson. (: excited. but the tchr's not very experienced i guess.. coz its like there's quite alot of stuff not taught.

jsut pray that i dun get sick these few days. esp b4 my exam. (: hope that i get distinction man. its beeen loong since i've liked dancing.. hhaha.

to summ up, it was great working with leaders. honestly, the camp flowed well and it is quite an easy camp to manage coz its basically for the sports captians, vc and QM.

the rain ruined the adventure learning part.. but allowed us to finish up our banners and go home early.

ahha. and the whole sch was in camp mode. and i'm talking like TP scale. TPSU was having their camp.. and more camps. haha. and because of that, the sports ppl were to sleep at the SAR room. small enclosed rm w/o aircond with abt 60-70 ppl. ventilators were added but i dun think it helped. ahha. so the touch girls, rugby guys, waterpoloist and floorball ppl slept at the sports hall which was so much better. the wind made the sports hall so cold at night and we had the WHOLE area to ourselves. haha. it was sure nice though the ground was hard.

liked the external talks by mr. chin (on agility trng) and esther tan who inspired me tons- first female navy officer. she trains the guys and all. following news abt her..

i guess for my team, all i can do is to play my part and work hard to try to do as much as i can rather than wasting my efforts on ppl who have the ability but doesn't have the attitude. sometimes i will nv understand their complaints and super closed and anial mindset. i went for this camp because i'm the vc of the bowling team. however, i felt that i was there for the rugby team. coz i was the only bowling comm there and i just had to go with my rugby team throughout. but i felt nice to be with my teammates.

we did make friends.
funny how we still dunno each otherr's name but by the CCA- "hey u cano-polo one!" and so on.
i hope the journey doesn't end here. may all sports leaders in TP continue to strive on and work towards in building the Team Temask attitude. only you guys have the potential hope. let not others bring you down.

everyday i'm learning and applying. i just hope that all these will be aligned with the Word of God. i do fear the sub-conscious change of my current useful principles, misleading myself though with the aim for improvement. this may led to being a bad me.
hahha. let's just pray that God will continue to guide all His little children, and pray that some will jsut wake up.

today i consider it a feat.

morning was bowling from 11-130pm.
collected phone at wisma.
then rushed for ballet from 230 till 6pm.
then in the heavy rain i took a cab for rugby at 7pm and trng ended at 9pm today.

gd anot. ahhaa.
i thought it was gonna rain and was prepared for the dirty field.. but the east side showed no signs of rain nor heavy dark clouds.

ok. let me go indepth.
u can stop reading from here coz it'll be basically the same stuff. haha.

bowling. i thinkg today's a gd trng. augustine joined us. i think i've improved in my release and defintely my timing. there's more forward roll now and showing signs of potential rev. ok la.. rev is easy for u guys. but i find it tough. but nonetheless, i hope i dun forget what i've learnt today abt my timing. considering that we spent 1hr on 2 step drill 1-2 person per lane, we'd better show some improvement.

and as if that the bowling alley is my house, i left my socks and fav water bottle at the alley. sad ok. rsn's navy water bottle. my socks... hahha. is my adidas' one.. coz when i took it out of the plastic bag, it was wet and disgustin. so i decided to dry it at the corner.. ): ok. but luckyily asto saved my socks. and guess wad! she gave me chocs again! super nice la. chocs u can't get anywhere but her coz she makes them. pro right- my doubles partner. HAHAH.

anyways. ballet was gd. demicharacter.. i learnt it last month. and i think its already an achievement where i am now for that dance. its our last own trng with xinyan. seriously.. today was super conducsive after video several times to 'perfect' our dance. we really want to get distinction. coz it'll be one of my last RAD ballet exams. ahaha.
seriously. all these ballet thing making me feel happy to do ballet. not that i dun like... but i jsut can't relate to ballet. its so so.. fairy like. but at the same time.. it requires the stamina of play a 7mins touch rugby game 4 subing out.but for dance, u can't sub out.
u can only continue with a smile and confidence or break something if careless.
oh man.
7days from now is the day.
i'm already freakin out. pray that God will be there to watch and calm my nerves and SMILE and look happy to be dancing for the strict examiner.

anyways. the rain was pouring at town area.

at sch. it was dry. very dry. but the grass was really filled with insects and flies. e field is much better now. but i guess coz of the weather.. it got really itchy after awhile.
then there's the camp gg on and music was super loud, almost overpowered coach's instructions.
i think overall, i did well today. but i was quite funny lar. i keena my right eye then left eye and 2 person stepped on my toes today which made me fall eventually. all the repeatitions. but i need alot more improvement.

alright.. morng trng was at RP. the sch is BIG. too much space. i seriously think they should try and utilise the space more. the buildings look all the same. and..
theres NO TRACK. only field. AND, the toilets have so many redundant walls.. and NO hot water like TP.

okok. haha. but, the sch is nice. nice environment but too agri-food-factory-ish.

trng was little. but i learnt more abt how Peter Bell sees things. He's knowledgeble and explains well. then later.. it started to rain heavily... so he told us to go for water break. and, we stopped from there. so it was like a 40 mins thing.

meanwhile, RP have Contact! they were trng beside us. Ida was trng them. ahhha. then i saw....
SOPHIE GOLLIFHER .. i'm not sure how to spell her last name though. she's from sports sch, track and field and she's freakinn fast. and i mean like really really fast. i rmbr running the marathon with her. i was halfway through and she was like completeing her last quarter kinda thing. freak out.
today... ida got the ball and was running straight at the left wing. then, from the far right wing, she ran in. not only did she caught up with her, she got infront of ida who was the ball carrier. and and and... SHE WAS JOGGING. seriosuly. it was like effortless while ida tried to run straight up. ida's a fast runner k.
i rmbr her as the 'girl with potential' and breaking many records.

so. next yr's big game better watch for her. if she breaks through... dive man, dive. hhaa. and we're like saying only nic and az may have a chance to chance her after seeing her effortlessly running half field.

she's goona inspire to train my speed and stamina.
i'm still v much amazed by her effortless run that was so so fast.

anyways. i heard that more polys and jcs are starting women contact. hoho. tp is not goona start though. ): it'll be fun man. hahha.


after that roamed in toapahyo while waited for chris and mk to arrive to go old PA.

felt that ball handling was scary. really. they didn't play well though. mrs charles wasn't too happy either. i really hope that this would be a wake up call for them and really show their opponents what they've got.

today, i realise the gd use of a 300mm f/4 and on a mark II, its like magic. ahhaha.

well,.. i guess for today, its not that bad. cosidering is my first time shooting a match with my tele and camera.
i'm still thinkin if i should borrow a lens from my friend for the finals.

this morning, i went for the 8am service. i was really tired. i have to admit that i wasn't v cheerful to be alone up at service. i told God that i was getting really restless and all. and the hymns made it more draggy. it was quite ironic coz on one hand, i kept complaining to God and on the other, i kept apologising.
anyways. God heard my pleas. ahhah. the sermon was quite interesting and all. after sermon, i went out to check on my mum and the food downstairs.. and the sunlight shinning through was beautiful. show u 2 pics that are not editied..

anyways.

after my usual class, i went home to rest. i played the guitar! hoho. after a few months man. its been loong. there's dust on the guit's body. have yet to try marc's pedal though. haha. coz it was slightly towards evening, i was along at home. haha. so i tried my recording thing on my laptop.. the inbuilt mic is nice.. BUT.. the guit sounds too jerky. it picks up too much of the heavier vibrations. i also tried singing out loud. and for those who know me, i can't sing. ahhaha. (recalls sec sch days: was made to sing 'yue liang dai biao wo de xin' purposedly zhao xhia on stage; steph being my wife. yes. how embarrassing. chinese singing competition. well, it did my the judges laugh and we won ok.)

anyways. it feels good to just spend time with my old songs i've written. ahhah. i realised i can't sing them. hoho. and yes daniel lim, u've been an inspiration. HAh. i know u wont be reading this though. (:

so after that, mum came home. then we went to our estate area the pasar malam. haha. i finally got myself a wallet (which i think is too big) and a hand-carry bag. imitations are catching up these days though. its my first handheld bag with a big Puma name on it. i think the bag would be good coz it has a thin layer of padding on its surface, allowing me to carry my camera inside or whatever electrionic stuff.

i just love pasar malam. i dun mind living back in the old Kampong days. seriously. coz i feel that i belong to that era more than now.

so tmr morn.. its the peterbell's trng. kinda excitied abt it. will be held at RP. ahha. hope that its not like those tiring trngs. (: gd nite!
